Craft beer at the campsite

An experience to discover, within the campsite itself! Recently we have our own brewery unit allowing us to work malts and hops to obtain our unique beer. Local and artisanal you exchange with Gauthier, the second son of the family, who will explain to you his universe and his beginnings in the world of craft beer.

A brewery in the Baie de Somme

The world of craft beers is booming! We have decided to follow this movement in order to offer our customers a unique experience. Our "la Barrote" beer with its floral and hoppy taste wants to convince connoisseurs and lovers of the sweet beverage. Beer from the campsite as a souvenir of your stay in the Baie de Somme

The know-how of a qualified brewer

With his training and a university degree in hand, the adventure can begin for Gauthier! The acquisition of equipment and the support of his relatives allowed him to concoct the first beers! After some setbacks during the start-up, the recipe became clearer and customers were able to discover the first "Barotte" this summer.

A suitable material

Our small brewery unit allows us to make 150 liter brews to fill 2 fermenters of 300 liters each

The choice of ingredients

To produce a good beer, everything is important (temperature, equipment...) but the basic products of water, malt, hops and yeast are the start of all good brews.

Mastering the dosages and the experience of the brewer are also keys to success.

Composer

The subtle dosage of ingredients gives the beer its character. The temperatures, the quality of the malts and hops, the fermentation time are all parameters to be controlled to produce a quality beer.

Once produced and bottled, the beer can be tasted. In the calm of the campsite, you can enjoy a very cold beer at aperitif time!
